Diving Medicine

Diving becomes much more interesting when you understand the physiology and medicine behind it. Educational programs supported by several well developed training organizations have made the sport safer.
We have seen an expansion of the diving sport that has challenged the medical community to further understand it's effects and develop diving- standard fitness. The Diving Medicine Course will entail some of the topics essential for any diver to understand.

  • Introduction to marine life, marine life Hazards and how to manage them
  • Common Injuries during ascent and decent
  • Breath-hold diving (free-diving) and its most common injuries
  • Decompression sickness and Cerebral Arterial Gas Embolism
